What
is Manic
Noize?
MANIC NOIZE is a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal
compilation series being offered by MANIC RECORDS for INDIE and DIY
recording artists seeking licensing opportunities in TV, Film,
Advertising, Video Gaming and New Media. These compilations are NOT
FOR SALE they are strictly promotional tools for music supervisors
needs only.
Why
are we doing this?
Our mission is simple as it is unique, to
help the worldwide INDIE and DIY Hard Rock/Heavy Metal music
community get their songs into the ears and minds of top MUSIC
SUPERVISORS in the entertainment industry who are actively seeking
the most cutting edge music available for their projects.
What
makes our service so unique?
Lets face it, unless you are signed to a
major label or music publishing company that actively seeks
placements for your songs, the odds of you even getting your music
considered for placements in TV and Film has historically always been
slim to none. MANIC NOIZE offers INDIE and DIY artists a one-of-a-kind
service by exposing their music to hundreds of these music
supervisors at a time. On the flip side of the coin, MANIC NOIZE
offers music supervisors the most eclectic, cutting edge and
underground music the world has to offer. The best part is, its FREE
for the artists to submit music and its FREE for the music
supervisors to get a copy of the compilation, making it a win-win
situation for everyone.
How
Manic Noize works:
1.
Before submitting, you must read and accept all guidelines listed in
the FAQ
2.
Once you have read the FAQ
and understand all the guidelines, you are ready to submit.
Submissions are FREE! Just email us a link to only 1-4 of your
songs that are 5:00 in duration or less for comp consideration.
3.
If your submission has been approved, we will contact you and may
offer you 1 or 2 spots for your track/s inclusion on the compilation.
4.
If your track is offered a spot, there is a one time process fee of
$50.00 per song (2 song maximum per artist) to guarantee inclusion on
the compilation and can be paid via PayPal
or by mailing a check or money order.
5.
This $50.00 process fee offsets our cost to manufacture and mail the
compilations to our database and is non-negotiable. (Please do not
submit your music to us if you have a problem with this fee upfront)
6.
Before the compilation goes to print you agree to provide us all of
your tracks credits including all songwriters, copyright and contact
information in connection with your approved track/s.
7.
We circulate compilation to our database of music supervisors of TV,
Film, Video Gaming, Advertising and New Media for licensing
opportunities only. You will receive 1 copy of the compilation.
8.
If we attract interest from a music supervisor who is interested in
placing your song (example-in a TV show or film, etc) with your
approval, we will negotiate and issue a master & synchronization
license to said music supervisor on your behalf and equally share the
negotiated fee with you 50-50
9.
You keep all your publishing rights and all your residuals and are
always free to do whatever you like with no ties to us whatsoever as
we continue seeking licensing opportunities for your song.
